Parasolid VDA-FS is a bi-directional translator between the VDA Surface Data Interface format, commonly known as VDA-FS, and Parasolid XT. VDA-FS is the German standard for transferring surface data between dissimilar CAD/CAM systems. It was developed by Verband der Automobilindustrie e.V. (VDA), the German Automobile Manufacturers Association. VDA-FS is a German national standard published as DIN 66301. Parasolid VDA-FS can be easily integrated into any Parasolid-powered application using its well documented API.
